Gloria S Pawlowski

Gloria S. Pawlowski, 97, of Oxford, NJ (formerly of Hackettstown, NJ) passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025 at Warren Haven Nursing Home in Oxford NJ with her loving family by her side.

Gloria was born on August 9, 1927 in Olyphant, PA to the late Carmen and Louise Mase.

She was a graduate of Olyphant High School, Class of 1944. She married her soul mate Joseph F. Pawlowski in 1946. Together they celebrated 40 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1984. Gloria was employed as a packer for M&M Mars in Hackettstown for 25 years prior to her retirement in 1997. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Theodore’s Roman Catholic Church. Gloria was an avid reader and loved to crochet. She was a member of the M&M Senior Citizen Group and enjoyed the many trips and tours she attended with the group. Gloria was very social and quickly made friends at Warren Haven where she was loved by her friends and staff. Above all she loved her family and treasured every moment spent together. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving daughters; Judy Novak and her husband Frank, Ann Marie Munniksma and her husband Ted and Joann Nussbaum and her husband Rohn. She also leaves behind her caring grandchildren; Teresa Lopes and her husband Bob, Andrea Novak, Lisa Munniksma, Marisa Anderson and her husband Jim, Kristen Silfies and her husband Bob, R.J. Nussbaum and his wife Amanda, Nikki Gray and her husband Dale,  J.P Nussbaum and his wife Sarah and great-grandchildren; Bobby Silfies, Emma Anderson, Ava Silfies, Royce Nussbaum, Callum Gray, Colton Nussbaum and Zachary Nussbaum.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 11:00-11:30 AM at Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Memorial Service celebrating Gloria’s life will immediately follow the visitation at 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Pequest Union Cemetery in Great Meadows.
