Georges S Chalemin

Georges S. Chalemin, 87 of Long Valley, NJ passed away peacefully on August 7, 2022 at home with his loving family by his side. Georges was born on July 10, 1935 in Paris, France to the late Iskender and Haiganoosh Tchalemian. At the age of 25, on February 19, 1960 Georges proudly became a citizen in the United States of America. That same year he enlisted in the US Army and was honorably discharged in November of 1964 after proudly serving his country. Georges was self employed as a builder. He married the love of his life Marianna Quinz in 1960. They resided in Ridgefield Park prior to moving to Long Valley in 1976. Georges was a member of the Long Valley OEM and District Warden for the State of New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. A true outdoorsman, he was an avid hunter and a builder of all things. He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Marianna Chalemin, his loving children; son Georges S. Chalemin II and his wife Luz and daughter, Colette Chalemin. 3 cherished grandchildren; Georges III, Sebastian and Chase. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers; Edmond, Jack and Alex. In abiding with Georges wishes, all services will be held privately.
