Frank J Jonkoski

Frank J. Jonkoski, 76, of Mansfield Township, NJ passed away peacefully on December 27, 2017 at home with his loving family by his side.
Born on December 23, 1941 in Newark, NJ to the late John and Grace Jonkoski.
Frank previously lived in Hillside, NJ prior to moving to Mansfield, NJ. He was employed as an Executive Director of Irvington Housing Authority. He was then employed by the Irvington Police Department as an ABC officer prior to his retirement in 2004. Frank was a member of the Irvington Elks and the Irvington Knights of Columbus. He was a past President of the Irvington Tavern Owner's Association and the Treasurer of the Club Navajo Manner. Frank was also a past Councilman in Irvington Township. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and Golf. He loved vacationing in Florida with his wife. Frank was of the Catholic faith and a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Hackettstown, NJ.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 12 years, Carmela Jonkoski, his loving children, daughter, Jean Marie Antonucci, sons, Ryan Antonucci, Keith Antonucci, Bruce Antonucci, Frank Jonkoski and Darren Jonkoski. Cherished grandchildren, Adriel Antonucci, Jenna Lynn Antonucci, Joseph Walsh Jr., Ryan Antonucci Jr., Madison Ann Antonucci, Jane Jonkoski, Dara Jonkoski and 2 great-grandchildren Walter Antonucci and Jaxson Antonucci and 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday January 2, 2017 from 2 - 6 PM at the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Church Of The Assumption Of The Blessed Virgin Mary, 302 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840
