Francis J 'Frank' Blake

Francis "Frank" Joseph Blake, 70, of Long Valley, NJ passed away at Morristown Medical Center on August 23, 2019 with his loving family by his side.
Frank was born on September 20, 1948 in Somerville, NJ to the late Richard Blake Sr. and Dorothy Blake (née Duffy).
Frank grew up in Springfield and Morristown. He was a graduate of Morristown High School. After High School, Frank attended Morris County Community College. He was employed as the Plant Manager for the family business, Grassmann-Blake, a manufacturing company. He married his loving wife, Patricia, in 1997.
Frank was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks in Springfield. He was an avid gun collector and motorcyclist. From the time of his childhood, he loved spending summers with his family at their retreat at Elk Lake in Hopewell Township, NJ, and later in his home on Ye Greate St in Greenwich, NJ. He was an avid golfer and a huge NY Yankees fan.
He is survived by his devoted wife Patricia Blake, and his loving children: daughter, Lauren Blake-Parseliti and her husband Daniels; step-sons Scott Ambrosino and his partner Hilary Hall; Guy Ambrosino and his wife Kate Winslow; his cherished grandson Elio Ambrosino; his siblings, Richard Blake, Jr. and his wife, Denise; and Robert Blake and his wife, Lynn; sister Barbara Hoerning; and former spouse, Penny Higgins. Beloved Uncle Frank to many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a step-daughter, Christine Ambrosino, who passed in 2018.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 12-4 PM at the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home; 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 4:00 PM in the funeral home.
