Eugene John Klein

Eugene John Klein, 80, of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully on January 3, 2021 at home in Belvidere, NJ. Eugene was born on January 7, 1940 in Indonesia to the late Hendrik John Klein and Josephine Gerritsen John Klein. He was of Catholic faith and served in Dutch Military Air Force. He attended Technical College. He enjoyed cooking and was employed as a chef at Seton Hall University until his retirement in 2012. Eugene also enjoyed sports and reading. He will be sadly missed. He is survived by his loving sisters Yvonne (Rene) Hammers, Maleine Soffner, his brothers Jan John Klein, and Gritsko John Klein and his wife Maria. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother-in-law Walter Soffner. In abiding with his wishes, all services will be private.
