Emily Elizabeth Shann

Emily E. Shann, 66, of Washington, NJ passed away on May 3, 2020 at Hackettstown Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ.
Emily was born on February 12, 1954 in Kenvil, NJ to the late Louis and Reba Shann.
Emily enjoyed the simple things in life. She was very sweet natured and humble. Emily was a graduate of Roxbury High School. She was a member of The Arc of Flanders and Washington, NJ. She enjoyed cross word puzzles and she was phenomenal at completing them. She loved listening to oldies but goodies music. She also enjoyed coloring and watching television. She enjoyed very much being in her comfortable spot while relaxing and enjoying her television programs.
Emily is survived by her niece Amanda Alvarez and her children; Robert, Jayden, and Shae Torres. She is also survived by her siblings; Robert Shann, David Shann, Delmar Shann, and Louella Post. Emily also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Emily is predeceased by her brother Louis Shann, and her sister Darlene Alvarez and brother in law Vincent Alvarez.
Funeral arrangements have been made private at this time and under the direction of Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
A memorial service celebrating Emily's life will be conducted at a later date.
