Elaine Lillian Smith

Elaine L. Smith, 71, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026 at Hackettstown Medical Center.

Elaine was born on January 12, 1955 in Paterson, NJ to the late Thomas and Katherine Meyn.

She earned her Associates degree from Morris County Community College. Elaine was employed as a medical equipment technician for Siemens Pharmaceutical prior to her retirement in 2010. She was a very talented artist and painted many portraits. She loved the outdoors and shopping for antiques, always in search of her next treasure. 

Elaine is survived by her partner of over 40 years, Marvin Zujkowski, her loving sister; Cathy Teeling, her nieces Meghan Teeling and Courtney Sansone and her husband Michael. Great niece and nephews; Ryan, Benjamin, Maggie and Lucas step-children; Ronald Zujkowski and his wife Meghan, Sandra Rushevics, Keith Zujkowski and Kevin Zujkowski and grandchildren; Anna, Keeley and Kinsey.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 1-3PM at Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840
