Edward Pasko Jr. 75, of Melbourne, FL (formerly of Great Meadows, NJ) passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024 at his home in Melbourne with his loving family by his side.
Edward was born on March 29, 1949 in Newton, NJ to the late Edward and Ann Pasko.
He was a graduate of Hackettstown High School, Class of 1967. Edward married the love of his life Linda Bonner in 1967. He was employed at Pasko Brothers Excavating Co which was owned by his father and uncle, retiring in 2009. He and his wife moved to Melbourne, Florida in 2014. He was a devout Catholic and a past parishioner of St, Peter and Paul in Great Meadows and current parishioner of Our Lady of the Lourdes in Melbourne. Edward enjoyed car racing in his younger years. He was an avid NASCAR and NY Giants football fan. Edward had his pilot’s license which let to him purchasing his own plane. He would often fly out of Hackettstown. He and his wife loved going on cruises. Above all he loved his family. He will be greatly missed.
Edward is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years Linda Pasko, his loving daughters; Kimberly Friedman and her husband Andrew and Michele Sypniewski and her husband Derrick. He also leaves behind his grandson Nicholas Edward Sypniewski, his caring sisters, Irene Cardell and her husband Peter and Maryann Pasko. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson, Derrick Sypniewski Jr. who passed in 2012.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Pequest Union Cemetery, 30 Cemetery Road, Great Meadows, NJ 07838.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward’s name to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057
