Doris P Williamson

Doris P. Williamson, 84, of Mount Olive, NJ passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior on December 20, 2023 with her loving family by her side.

Doris was born on July 23, 1939 in Orange, NJ to the late Frank and Marian Prestwich.

She was a graduate of Union High School. Doris married the love of her life Donald Gregg Williamson. They recently celebrated 63 years of marriage. She was employed as a secretary for her husband’s engineering firm, Pluymers, Williamson and Associates in Chester, NJ prior to her retirement in 2004. Doris was very involved in her church, Valley View Chapel in Long Valley. She was a Deaconess and volunteered for many social church activities. She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, ceramics and creating stained glass. Above all she loved her family, she was very welcoming and nurturing, always there to help those in need. She will be greatly missed.

Doris is survived by her devoted husband, Donald Gregg Williamson, her loving children; D.Scott Williamson and his wife Lisa, Tracy L. Quamme and her husband Richard, Jeffrey G. Williamson and his wife Joelle, her treasured grandchildren; Evan G. Williamson and his wife Geneveve, Capt. Ryan L. Williamson D.O USAF, Hannah M.L. Quamme, Madeline R.M. Quamme, Lauren A. Richardson and her husband Justin, Alanna J. Williamson, Mitchell G. Williamson and 2 great-grandchildren Bennett M. Williamson and Landon L. Williamson. She also leaves behind her sister Gail Ferdon and her husband Wayne as well as many nieces and nephews.

At this time all services will be private. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
