Dawn Marie Mattaliano

Dawn Marie Mattaliano, 41, of Flanders, NJ passed away peacefully on December 16, 2016 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ with her family by her side.
Dawn was born on March 6, 1975 in Englewood, NJ to Dominic Zoccoli and the late Jeanne-Marie Zoccoli. Dawn met and married the love of her life Anthony Mattaliano while attending Fairleigh Dickinson University. They met the very first semester and instantly became companions. Dawn was employed as a sales representative for Tiffany and Co. prior to taking on her dream job of being a full time stay at home Mother. She loved the hot weather, sunbathing, swimming and going to the beach. She enjoyed baking; her favorite was baking cookies for her children. She was a selfless woman who loved family and helping others. Her children were her world. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her as well as many lives that she touched through her acts of kindness.
In addition to her devoted husband of 16 years Anthony, she is survived by her cherished children, 2 sons, Anthony Dominic and Dylan Joseph. Her loving father, Dominic Zoccoli, loving brother, Jeff Zoccoli and her treasured nephew and niece, Nicolas and Gina Zoccoli. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jeanne-Marie Zoccoli.
She will be deeply missed by her caregiver / cousin, Veronica Barone.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 4-7PM at the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 Funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 7:00PM in the funeral home.
