Christine Ambrosino died peacefully on Wednesday August 15, 2018 at her parents' home in Long Valley, New Jersey at the young age of 53.
Christine was born on August 3, 1965, in Dover, New Jersey, to Patricia Blake and Albert Ambrosino. She attended SUNY Purchase where she studied voice and opera as a soprano. After leaving SUNY Purchase, Christine spent several years practicing and performing in New York before transitioning careers to her other passion: health and well being. She attained her certification in Swedish massage, Pilates, Gyrotonic and yoga and led private classes and worked with clients developing juicing and raw food nutritional programs. Her family and friends will always remember Christine as a passionate, talented and spiritual person who was committed to healing and inspiring others be it through the arts, health, wellness, fitness and spiritual practices to food and wine (she was an amazing cook). Her wide smile, contagious laughter and thoughtful approach to life will be sorely missed by all who knew her..
Christine is survived by her father Albert Ambrosino of Stanhope, New Jersey, her mother Patricia Blake and her stepfather Francis Blake of Long Valley; her brother Scott Ambrosino of New York, New York; her brother Guy Ambrosino, sister-in-law Kate Winslow and nephew Elio Ambrosino of Lambertville, New Jersey; sister, Lauren Blake-Parseliti and her husband Daniels Parseliti; and her fiancé Seth Liebman of Brooklyn, New York.
A viewing is scheduled Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, New Jersey, 07840. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Christine's life. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Christine's name to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
