Cheong Loong Buk

Cheong Loong Buk, 94, of Hong Kong, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024 at Hackettstown Medical Center.

Cheong was born on November 15, 1929 in Gaung Dong to the late Geoi Doy Buk and Luk Kong.

He married the love of his life Yee Wan Lo. Together they celebrated 60 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2014. Cheong ran a small shop as watch retailer and repairman for over 60 years prior to his retirement in 2019. He was an avid swimmer and very fit for his age. Cheong had a sweet tooth and enjoyed sugary treats. He was very kind and nice to everyone he met especially his nephews, niece and his apprentices. He loved to smile and make others smile. He will be greatly missed.

Cheong is survived by his loving children, son, Kwok Nang Buk and his wife Amy Chu and daughter, Pauline S. Pak and her husband William Meyer. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren; Man Yi Buk, Jasmine Meyer and Ginger Meyer.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 4-5 PM at the Maguire Memorial Home & Cremation Services, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation at 5 PM in the funeral home.
