Charles Miller, 82, A lifelong resident of Mansfield township passed away peacefully at home on October 3, 2016 with loved ones by his side.
Charles was born on April 15, 1934 in Mansfield Township to the late Frederick and Edith Miller.
Charles worked for Reichhold Chemical and B.P Chemical in Mansfield before retiring in 1992. He was known to his friends as "Choo Choo Charlie". He was of Catholic faith. He enjoyed fishing. Charles was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins football team and the NY Mets baseball team.
He is survived by a daughter Velvet Miller; a grandson Dalton Allen and many nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his sisters Dolores and Pearl, brothers Paul and Robert.
Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday October 5, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the Scala Memorial Home. 124 High St. Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday October 6, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine in Easton, PA.
