Carlos George Mcgann

Carlos George McGann, 79, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away on September 17, 2024 in Houston, Texas.

Carlos was born on January 29, 1945 in Ecuador to the late Carlos Jorge McGann and Estefania Macias.

He married the love of his life Maria (nee; Garcia) McGann in 1984. Together they celebrated 40 years of marriage while raising their 3 children. Carlos was a devout Catholic, opening his home with his wife for Spanish Mass. Their faith and love of their heritage was the driving force to ensure all had a place to worship. Carlos enjoyed music, dancing and action movies. He loved animals. Above all he was a family man. He adored his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his devoted wife Maria McGann, his loving children, Charles McGann of Houston, TX, Thom McGann and his wife Rosa of Salisbury, NC and Diana Pecore and her husband Edward of Plattsburgh, NY. His adored grandchildren, Anabell McGann, Mia McGann, Atticus Pecore, Micah Pecore and Valery McGann. First cousins; Roberto Mourin, Analia Mourin (Enrique), Luigi Gardella and his wife Maria Elena Gardella, Letty Figueroa de Vélez and her husband Luis Velez, Max Eduardo Figueroa and wife Marcela Figueroa, Maria Luisa McGann Pazmino

Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 5-8 PM at the Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.

A Mass of Catholic burial will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 302 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

Entombment will follow the Mass at Hackettstown Union Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Maguire Memorial Home.

Carlos nació el 29 de enero de 1945 en Ecuador, hijo de Carlos Jorge McGann y Estefanía Macias.

Se casó con el amor de su vida, María (de soltera; García) McGann, en el 1984. Juntos celebraron 40 años de matrimonio mientras criaban a sus 3 hijos. Carlos era un católico devoto quien abrió las puertas de su casa con su esposa para tener la misa en español. Su fe y amor por su herencia fue la fuerza impulsora para garantizar que todos tuvieran un lugar para adorar. Carlos disfrutaba de la música, el baile y las películas de acción. Amaba a los animales. Por encima de todo, era un hombre de familia. Adoraba a sus hijos y nietos. Lo extrañaremos mucho.

Le sobreviven su devota esposa Maria McGann, sus amados hijos, Charles McGann de Houston, TX, Thom McGann y su esposa Rosa de Salisbury, NC y Diana Pecore y su esposo Edward de Plattsburgh, NY. Sus adorados nietos, Anabell McGann, Mia McGann, Atticus Pecore, Micah Pecore y Valery McGann. Sus primos hermanos; Roberto Mourin, Analia Mourin (Enrique) y Luigi Gardella and his wife Maria Elena Gardella, Letty Figueroa de Vélez and her husband Luis Velez, Max Eduardo Figueroa and wife Marcela Figueroa, Maria Luisa McGann Pazmino

Los familiares y amigos pueden presentar sus respetos el viernes 27 de Septiembre del 2024 de 5 a 8 p. m. en Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.

Se llevará a cabo una misa de entierro catolico el sábado 28 de Septiembre del 2024 a las 10:00 a. m.en la Iglesia de la Asunción de la Santísima Virgen María, 302 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

El entierro se realizará después de la misa en el cementerio Hackettstown Union Cemetery.

Los preparativos han sido confiados a Maguire Memorial Home.
