Beverly R Rush

Beverly R. Rush, 81, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully at Warren Haven nursing home on April 13 at 2:15am surrounded by her loving family.

She is the daughter of the late Henry and Rose Yale; born and raised in Stewartsville, NJ.

She graduated from Washington High School class of 1959 and Empire Beauty School, becoming the sole proprietor of Beverly's Beauty Salon from 1981 to 2000. She had a generous and loving heart, volunteering for the Washington Township Ladies Auxiliary, Gilbert Historical Society quilters guild and cancer society. Her hobbies included bowling, walking, quilting, traveling, and camping with close friends and family.

She is survived by James Rush Sr., former husband of 53 years, her 4 children, Jamie Cope and her husband James, James Jr, Maria Summitt and her husband Joseph and Jacki Rush. 11 grandchildren Brittney, Carley, Jon, Jeffrey, Jacob, Jeremy, Hillory, Rachel, Erin, Abby and Danielle, and 1 great grandchild Morgan. She loved spending quality time with them.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her 5 siblings, Henry Yale Jr. "Betty Rush, David Yale Sr. Robert Yale Sr. and Marie Turner.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Maguire- Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. A service celebrating Beverly’s life will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Cremation will be held privately and burial at Stewartsville Lutheran Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
