Antoinette "Toni" B. Boyne, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at age 90 on May 19, 2021. A resident of Hackettstown, NJ for over 25 years, she recently moved to Pennsylvania and passed away at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. Toni was born on April 18, 1931 in Manhattan, NY to the late William and Ann (Majewicz) Bak. She graduated from Hunter College in New York and attended Fordham University before pursuing a career in social work. She initially worked at the New York Foundling, where she returned to volunteer later in life, followed by Brooklyn Catholic Charities and Spaulding for Children. She then began a new career in real estate. After a few years, she became a broker and founded Boyne Realty in Jersey City, which she sold when she retired in 2015. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and reading. Above all, she was happiest when surrounded by her family, often found at her dinner table enjoying delicious home-cooked meals prepared by her well into her late eighties. She leaves behind a legacy of selflessness, generosity, and care and concern for others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Toni is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, John, and their children Denis Keily and Laurie Vonderhaar, wife of Kevin. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Ben Keily and Erika Hollinger, wife of Tony. In addition, her four great-grandchildren Ezra, Elijah, Micah, and Seraphina Hollinger. In addition to her parents, Toni is predeceased by her first husband, James Keily, who passed away in 1958. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 5:00-9:00 PM at Maguire- Scala Memorial Home, Hackettstown, NJ. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, 302 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. Burial will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Maguire- Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
