Anna Platt

Anna Platt, 86, of Independence Township, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024 at Forest Manor Healthcare Center in Hope, NJ

Anna was born on January 28, 1938 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Nykolaj and Fanny Heryla.

She was a graduate of Hackettstown High School. After High School she was employed at Picatinny Arsenol where she worked in the undercover office. Her position awarded her many opportunities and she and her late husband Allen frequented the White House often for dinner. She loved to entertain and while living in Virginia she hosted many of the elite of Washington.

Anna is survived by her loving sister, Helen King, her nephews Jeff and Chris and her dear friend Sissy Dowhanik.

Honoring Anna’s wishes all services will be held privately.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Maguire Memorial Home.
