Ann T 'Nancy' Darche

Ann "Nancy" T. Darche, 63, of Great Meadows, NJ passed away peacefully on April 25, 2018 at Hackettstown Medical Center with her family by her side. Nancy was born on December 10, 1954 in Newark, NJ to the late Jean Raymond and Eleanor Marie Darche. Formerly of Hackettstown, Nancy resided in Great Meadows for the past 19 years with her daughter Jean Pecheur and her long time partner Douglas Pecheur. She was employed as a Book keeper at the Masda Corporation. Nancy was of the Catholic faith and a past parishioner of the Assumption Church in Morristown, NJ. She was an avid reader and loved listening to music from the 60's. Nancy was an animal lover, she particularly loved her Irish Setter Shannon. Nancy also enjoyed going to the beach. Above all she loved her daughter Jean. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Nancy is survived by her loving daughter, Jean Pecheur, her long time partner Douglas Pecheur, her caring siblings, John Darche and his wife Cathy, Joseph Darche and his wife Beverly, Daniel Darche and his wife Patty, David Darche and his wife Sue, Elizabeth Tirado and her husband Tom and Mary Wicks and her husband David. She also is survived by her Aunt Eleanor Higgins whom she adored and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her brother Thomas Darche.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 11:30 A.M until the time of service. At the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 Memorial service celebrating Nancy's life will be held at 12:00 P.M in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's name to the DASAAC, 29C Broad Street, Washington, NJ 07882 Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Scala Memorial Home 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
