Aniello "Neil" Decostanza

Aniello "Neil" DeCostanza, 70, of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2016 at Morristown Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. Neil was born on January 18, 1946 in Morristown, NJ to the late Aniello and Bertha Decostanza. Neil was raised in Madison and West Caldwell, NJ. He met and married the love of his life Susan soon after graduation. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Upsala College in East Orange, NJ. Neil was a salesman working in the TV cable industry. He and his wife lived in Commack, NY prior to moving to Hackettstown where they have resided for the past 38 years. Neil enjoyed the beach and spending time at the Jersey shore. He loved to go boating and fishing. He was a NY Yankees fan. He was extremely patriotic and loved his country. Above all he loved his family. He cherished his grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them. He will be sadly missed. He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Susan. His loving children, Neil DeCostanza and his wife Jodie, Terri Goriscak and her husband Scott and Lori DeCostanza. 8 treasured grandchildren, Paul & Grace DeCostanza, Adam, Afton, Amanda, Arin and Autumn Goriscak and Nicholas DeCostanza. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Antoinette Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday June 15, 2016 from 5-8PM at the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 9:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Neil's name to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St. Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Scala Memorial Home
