Albertine Marie Kagan

Albertine Marie Kagan, 91, of Pittstown, NJ (formerly of Long Valley and Chester NJ) passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024 at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ.

Albertine was born on December 1, 1932 in Paterson, NJ to the late Leonard and Albertina Poyck.

She was a graduate of Madison High School. She married Harold Kagan in 1954. Together they celebrated 58 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2012. She was employed as a Draftsman specializing in map making in her early years. Albertine enjoyed crocheting, solving jigsaw puzzles and reading. Albertine enjoyed old movies and old TV shows especially of Elvis and Lucille Ball. She will be greatly missed.

Albertine is survived by her children; Art Kagan and his wife Patti, Harold Kagan and his wife Jan, Jesse Kagan and Ruthie. She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Julianna, Nicholas and Michael, great grand-daughter Aurora, and many nephews and nieces.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 9:30-11:30 AM at Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial will take place at St. Vincent Martyr Cemetery in Madison, NJ.
