Agnes "Emma" Messina Murray

Agnes "Emma" Messina Murray, 87, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully on July 14, 2018 at Paragon Assisted Living in Mount Olive, NJ.
Emma was born on September 29, 1930 in Weehawken, NJ to the late Frank and Theresa Yautz.
Emma was a graduate of Memorial High School in West New York, NJ. She was employed at Bell Labs and Paid Prescriptions prior to her retirement. She was of the Catholic faith. Emma was a member of the Senior Community Center in Hackettstown. She was a very talented Artist and created many beautiful pictures in both pen and ink and painting. She loved the beach. Above all she loved her family and treasured every moment spent with them.
She is survived by her loving children, daughters, Debora Messina and Lori Messina and her son Frank Messina. Her cherished grandchildren, Andrea Kamaris, Jessica Harris, Ian Harris, Dana Galiano, Tony Galiano, Anna Messina and William Messina. She also leaves behind 9 adored great-grandchildren, Marc Doherty, Ben Doherty, Julianne Doherty, Ethan Doherty, Ian Harris, Jake Harris, Beth Kamaris, Evan Kamaris and David Maher. In addition to her parents, Emma is preceded in death by her first husband Francis A. Messina, her second husband, John C. Murray and her daughter Ellen T. Galiano.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, July 18 2018 at the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon. Funeral service will immediately follow the visiation at 12:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ
